So here I am in France. Sitting at Tierrie’s with my new Scottish, Irish friends.
I have drunk more espresso that is good for me, but the craic is good. And I want to get a few things down to post.
Barcelona was exceptional as you would suppose. We walked forever. We saw many things and we drank and ate more. Jiff is good at stopping in to cute pubs and eateries. I am good at finding my way around! Vickie was good at documenting everything on film. Elaine is good at keeping us all in line and coordinated! I’ll see if I can post some photos!
Very fun restaurant for afternoon tea was totally Alice in Wonderland theme. So very cute. Irish pub were the owner was full of himself and a lot of stories. He sent us to dinner at a fantastic tapas restaurant. Long day! Fun day!
Jiff was not well the next day so we girls went out on our own. La Sagrada Familia was our destination. Then we walked toward the Gothic quarter. It took forever to find the places Jim and I found very easily by accident on our visit in 2015. Lots of fun, but we needed a taxi to bring us back to our B&B. Then a nap before the France New Zealand game at a closer Irish pub, Michael Collins.
