Well that was fast! One day I am putting this all behind me and the next day I realize how much I will miss it! So, here I am again, but with a new beginning comes a new direction. What will that be, I wonder? I actually looked at other sites and concluded that this one, since it is already set up, would be hard to repeat. It is already all set up. I did that three years ago. I am too lazy to do that again or, in fact, to figure out another format. By staying with The Honeylamb Chronicles all I have to do is decide on a photo and a theme and start writing. And, frankly, before I turn on my computer I have already begun. Except today, of course, I’m making this up as I go along.
Look at those faces! Sean was being so silly. This is one where it is best viewed with the motion on. They were laughing so hard. Sean was pretending to push Natalie away while pulling his sister closer. As with any good comedian, the more we laughed, the more he performed. That’s a cherished memory!
Tomorrow morning, early, I board a flight to Maine where I will be with Natalie, her wonderful family and both of my silly children. I have been so looking forward to this trip. Yes, we will eat lobster fresh from the bay and go on hikes and despite all of the precautions I am planning to take, I will be covered in mosquito bites. I am prepared for that as well. But we will also just hang out and be together, play games, read books, enjoy the view to the bay and watch the fog roll in and out.
We will also take the ferry across the bay to Bar Harbor to see the kid’s wedding venue. I will have lots to report when I get home. No computer is coming with me, but I do have a pink sparkling notebook and some really fun pens.
Talk soon!
